In other words, i'm stuck using 1.2.2 stable because newer versions give me all sorts of problems. Since my TV is 4:3 I would think the games would look fine full screen with no borders correct Im a RetroArch noob, so not 100 sure, but wanted to know how I can get rid of the borders and have the game take up the full screen. I have a i5 4670 cpu and a 960 GTX on Windows 7 by the way. Hi there and welcome back to another video in which I test retroarch on the ps vita with the henkaku-enso 3.60 custom firmware. This is the ultimate build of. I have Retroarch starting games on the big CRT TV as I want, but the games still have the black borders on both sides. I prefer windowed though cause normal fullscreen locks me to 60hz. After a few updates they now lag a lot and the only way to fix is to either disable hard gpu sync or use normal fullscreen. With 1.2.2 most emulators work without lag using windowed fullscreen and hard gpu sync.
So i assume something broke after the stable was released?Īnother problem is that after 1.2.2 version stable, RA is very slow. All have problems except 1.2.2.Įdit: I also tested a nightly version a few days before 1.3.0 stable was released and it works. Open the RA 'Quick Menu' and then use the GUI to set up the Overlay according to your preferences. Set up the Overlay according to your preferences. Make sure that Use Content-Specific Core Options If Available and Load Override Files Automatically are enabled. only happens when i launch retroarch from any other frontend.Ĭan't figure out what's wrong with it : / Tried many nightly versions from 1.3.0 and up. Go to the Settings menu and find the Configuration submenu. If i try to launch from the RetroArch UI, i also get no problems. When i revert back to the 1.2.2 exe i get no such problems. RetroArch can run on the usual platforms like Windows, macOS and Linux, but it stands alone in that it can support far more platforms beyond just that. I say because i have an android performance phone for gaming as a 2nd option for portable. For android standalone is the way to go since retroarch doesnt work at all is completely broken on android. RetroArch database(s) that are associated with the gpSP core: Nintendo - Game Boy Advance. For the Vita Retroarch is the way to go for every emulator (exept for the N64, Dreamcast. It's completely random which game will work and which not (i'm using BSNES Balanced). PlayStation Vita PlayStation 2 PlayStation 3 PlayStation Classic Others. When i try to launch DKC 1, or EWJ it works. When i try to launch Doom or DKC2 (for instance), the emulator just closes. With 1.2.2 i was able to use it with no problems with hyperspin, Launchbox and any other frontend. Does anyone have ideas? All the games I've tested were within Adrenaline and it affected all of them (I'm from Germany but have a bunch of PS1 Classics downloaded from the American store and play them via Adrenaline because switching accounts is pain, so I haven't tested if the games perform any different without Adrenaline. There is something wrong with the later versions of this program. My suspicion is that this issue has something to do with how the PS1's original refresh rate is converted to 60hz - it's very reminiscent of how games run at 60hz on the Game Boy Player, for instance. It's most easily noticeable when you scroll the screen back and forth in a 2D game - I haven't actually timed it but again, it seems to manifest with very regular frequency. Sometimes this happens twice in quick succession. The game will, in regular intervals (think once every thirty seconds or so,) skip a single frame. Il faut être soit en henkaku soit en ENSO et il suffit de télécharger larchive c.
